The petitioner is accused in connection with Sonbarsa P.S. Case No. 36 of 2016, registered under Section 3 and 4 of Prevention of Money Laundering Act.

The accusation is that petitioner and one Sudhir Kumar Sah were seen by the ASI/T Sanjay Kumar Singh near the Nepal Boarder. On search, the petitioner was found in possession of Rs. 6,00,000/- Nepali currency note and one motorcycle, whereas co-accused Sudhir Kumar Sah was found in possession of Rs. 1,31,000/- Nepali currency and 8 A.T.M. Cards.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, in fact, the seized Nepali currency note was of one Raj Kishore

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.19479 of 2016 (2) dt.06-05-2016 2/2 Kumar, maternal uncle of the petitioner, who has filed an application for release of the seized currency notes and motorcycle. The petitioner having no criminal antecedent is in custody since 12.03.2016.

Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sitamarhi in connection with Sonbarsa P.S. Case No. 36 of 2016. (Rajendra Kumar Mishra, J) manish/- U T
