JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 19-06-2019 The petitioner was granted bail by this Court vide order dated 15.02.2019, passed in Cr. Misc. No. 8821 of 2019, in connection with Siwan Muffasil P.S. Case No. 639 of 2018 with a direction to surrender before the Court below within a period of four weeks from the date of passing of the order and furnishing bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount.
The learned counsel for the petitioner has
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.32401 of 2019(2) dt.19-06-2019 2/2 approached this Court through the present petition seeking extension of time for surrendering before the Court below. For the reasons stated in the application for the extension of time for surrendering before the Court below, the prayer is allowed.
The order dated 15.02.2019 is modified to the extent that if the petitioner, above named, surrenders before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks from today, i.e., 17.07.2019, he shall be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Addl. District and Sessions JudgeII-Cum-Special Judge, Excise, Siwan in connection with Siwan Muffasil P.S. Case No. 639 of 2018, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C. With the aforesaid modification, the application stands allowed.
