The petitioner is in custody in connection with Bodhgaya P.S. Case No. 741 of 2018, registered for the offence punishable under Section 30 (a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent. He further submits that in the instant case total 24 liters of country made liquor was recovered. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that petitioner is in custody in this case since 01.01.2019. Considering the facts that petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he has remained in custody for nearly five months, let the petitioner named above be released on bail on
