The petitioner has renewed the prayer for bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 341, 302, 120B of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

It is alleged against the petitioner that he fired on uncle of the informant, causing injury on his head, as a result, he died.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that earlier the prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 26.06.2018 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 22533 of 2018 by a Bench of this Court with direction to expedite the trial but till date, no evidence has been adduced.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.33019 of 2019(7) dt.16-11-2019 2/2 Considering the nature of accusation, this Court is not inclined to revise the order and accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

However, it is expected from the learned Additional Sessions Judge-Ist, Patna City to expedite the trial of Sessions Trial No. 201 of 2018, arising out of Fatuha P.S. Case No. 381 of 2017 and conclude the same within a period of nine months. If the trial is not concluded within the stipulated period, the petitioner will be at liberty to renew the prayer for bail.
