This application for regular bail arises out of Kuchaikot P.S. Case No. 191 of 2019, disclosing offence punishable under Section 307 and other allied Sections of the Indian Penal Code.

From the FIR, it appears that the informant is sisterin-law (wife of elder brother) of the petitioner. She has alleged that she was caught hold of by co-accused Guddu Ram and Arun Ram and was brought in an orchard where the petitioner assaulted her and injured her neck with a knife. It is the petitioner's case that the informant and the petitioner live in the same house. There is dispute of share among the coparceners of the family. The petitioner is in

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.33112 of 2020(2) dt.14-12-2020 2/2 custody since 17.02.2020. It is stated in the application that coaccused Guddu Ram has been allowed regular bail by this Court by an order dated 20.01.2020, passed in Cr. Misc. No. 86844 of 2019.

Considering the genesis of occurrence and the submissions as noted above, this application is allowed. Let the petitioner, above-named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/-(ten thousand), with two sureties of the like amount, each to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M.-VII, Gopalganj in Kuchaikot P.S. Case No. 191 of 2019. It is directed that defects in the application pointed out by the Registry must be removed within two months from today. (Chakradhari Sharan Singh, J) Rajesh/- U T
