The petitioner, who is the married sister-in-law of the deceased, seeks bail in anticipation of her arrest in connection with Baruraj P.S. Case No. 272 of 2018, instituted for the offences under Sections 304 (B) and 120B/ 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
The Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the deceased was married to the brother of the petitioner in the year 2018. The
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.33654 of 2020(3) dt.19-05-2021 2/2 petitioner had left her parental home long time ago when she was married. She has got no connection with the affairs of the family of her brother. She has only been made accused in this case in a general and omnibus manner because of her relationship with the husband of the deceased.
Considering this aspect of the matter, the petitioner was earlier granted provisional bail by this Court.
Regard being had to the facts and circumstances of the case, the provisional bail granted to the petitioner is hereby confirmed. The petitioner shall remain on the same bail bonds.
The petition stands disposed off.
