The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under sections 8, 20(b)(ii), 25 and 29 of the N.D.P.S. Act.

As per the prosecution case, 20.35 kgs of ganja was recovered from the house of the petitioner and she was taken into custody.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is an old lady having no criminal antecedent and has been falsely implicated in the case for oblique reasons. She is in custody since 2.3.2021.

Heard learned A.P.P. for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.45806 of 2021(2) dt.01-02-2022 2/2 taking into consideration the petitioner being a lady and being in custody for nearly 11 months and not having any criminal antecedent, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in connection with Jandaha P.S. Case no.49 of 2021 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/ (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sessions Judge, Vaishali at Hajipur.
