Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 395 of the Indian Penal Code and 25 of Antiquities and Treasures Act.
The petitioner is not named in the First Information Report but in course of investigation, the name of the petitioner came in this case, in the confessional statement of co-accused Guddu Kumar @ Rajiv Kumar. The stolen article, is said to have been recovered, from the possession of the co-accused Anand Kumar, on the basis of disclosure, made by co-accused Guddu Kumar @ Rajiv Kumar. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as submissions of the parties, let the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jamui in connection with Khaira P.S. Case No. 252 of 2015.
