Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 395 of the Indian Penal Code and 25 of Antiquities and Treasures Act.

The petitioner is not named in the First Information Report but in course of investigation, the name of the petitioner came in this case, in the confessional statement of co-accused Guddu Kumar @ Rajiv Kumar. The stolen article, is said to have been recovered, from the possession of the co-accused Anand Kumar, on the basis of disclosure, made by co-accused Guddu Kumar @ Rajiv Kumar.
