2. The petitioner has prayed for bail in connection with Ramgarh Chowk P.S. Case No.48 of 2026 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 318(4), 336(3), 338, 3(5) of B.N.S.

3. The case of the prosecution, in short, is that the petitioner was found with the Scorpio having Registration No. BR09AR5186 and the informant claims that this Registration No. belongs to him.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that petitioner is merely a driver and he was plying the vehicle in IOC Barauni Refinery, and the IOC Barauni Refinery has made a contract with one Rajnish Kumar. Learned counsel for

No.35389 of 2026(2) dt.21-05-2026 2/2 the petitioner has submitted that petitioner is merely a driver, he has not misused the number plate and he was unaware of this fact that this number plate belongs to the informant. Learned counsel for the petitioner has further submitted that the petitioner is having no criminal antecedent and he is in judicial custody since 01.03.2026.

5. Countering this, learned counsel for the informant has vehemently opposed the bail and submitted that the number plate of the informant was being used by the petitioner with a view to cheat.

6. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. ten thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the court of learned court of A.C.J.M, Lakhisarai in connection with Ramgarh Chowk P.S. Case No.48 of 2026.
