The writ court has passed the following order which reads as follows:- "If the petitioner is not satisfied with the final payment of his GPF and he still imagines that something is still due in terms of the GPF deduction and interest calculation, he is free to approach the Director, Provident Fund, Government of Bihar to understand the accounts and then if any discrepancy arises, the Director,Provident Fund will do what is necessary to be done. This order has been passed irrespective of the stand emerging in the counter affidavit contrary to any claim being maintained through the present writ application. If the petitioner approaches the
Patna High Court MJC No.2219 of 2017(3) dt.22-02-2019 2/2 Director, an early resolution of the doubt of the petitioner with regard to his claim will be made preferably within a month of petitioner approaching the Director, Provident Fund.
Writ is disposed of with the above direction."
Considering the observation of the writ court, the Court does not feel persuaded to exercise contempt jurisdiction as there was no positive direction. However, liberty shall be available to the petitioner to approach competent forum/court for redressal of his grievance in accordance with law. With the aforesaid, the present application stands disposed of.
