1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 118(1), 109, 74, 303(2), 352 of the B.N.S., 2023.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has antecedent of one case, as pleaded in the supplementary affidavit and in sum and substance, the allegation against the petitioner is that he assaulted the son of the informant namely Pawan Sharma. It is further submitted that from perusal of the injury report, it would manifest that the injury has been opined to be simple. It is also submitted that there is delay of two days in instituting the FIR. It is next

It is next submitted that since injury has been opined to be simple that amply demonstrates that petitioner never had any intention of committing a serious occurrence. It is also submitted that petitioner is not a criminal.

4. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner.

5. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner above-named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned trial court where the case is pending/successor court in connection with Raniganj P.S. Case No.405/2024, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) B.N.S.S.
