Apart from the fact that there is an inordinate and unexplained delay of more than 275 days in filing of this appeal, the matter pertains to appointment on the post of Sub Inspector of Police initiated vide advertisement issued in the year 2004 and the advertisement was issued in pursuance to the directions issued by the Supreme Court.
The learned Writ Court has taken note of various
Patna High Court LPA No.826 of 2017 dt.27-06-2018 3/3 aspects of the matter and finding there to be inordinate unexplained delay in filing the writ petition and also finding that the posts in question have been filled up in accordance to the direction issued by the Supreme Court, the Writ Petition has been dismissed.
We find the Writ Court to have adverted to consider all relevant aspects of the matter and now we see no reason to make any indulgence with regard to the recruitment process which was initiated in the year 2004 and concluded as per the direction of the Hon'ble Supreme Court. Accordingly, finding no merit, the Letters Patent Appeal stands dismissed.
