The petitioner is languishing in custody since 02.04.2016 in a case registered for the offences punishable under sections 20(b) of the NDPS Act and 47a of the Excise Act. Twenty five gram ganja has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the recovery is of small quantity and a statement has been made in paragraph 3 of the petition that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

Considering the aforesaid facts, let the above named petitioner be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount
