JUSTICE ARUN KUMAR JHA ORAL ORDER 12-07-2024 The present petition has been filed for modification of the order dated 07.03.2024 passed by this Court in Cr. Misc. No. 78098 of 2023 by which petitioner was granted anticipatory bail with direction that in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of eight weeks from the date of this order, the petitioner would be released on bail subject to certain condition.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is 92 years old widow lady and suffering from several diseases and during the period from the date of the order till the stipulated period of surrender, she was not keeping good health and she was even unable to move. For this reason, she could not
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.48109 of 2024(2) dt.12-07-2024 2/2 surrender as per directions of this Court. Learned counsel seeks modification of the order dated 07.03.2024 by extending the time of furnishing bail bonds in connection with Tekari P.S. Case No.11 of 2021.
3. Having regard to the submissions made on behalf of the petitioner and averments made in the instant petition, the time for surrender of the petitioner is extended by four weeks from today.
4. In view of the aforesaid facts, the order dated 07.03.2024 stands modified to the aforesaid extent only.
5. Accordingly, the present petition stands disposed of.
