1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.

2. The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 409, 467, 468 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in light of complaint received regarding irregularities committed in connection with Pradhanmantri Awas Yojna, an enquiry was conducted and it was found that irregularity was committed and complicity of named accused transpired.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is not named in the FIR. It is further submitted that

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.39365 of 2025(4) dt.07-11-2025 2/2 named accused persons have been granted bail by an order dated 14.03.2024 in Cr. Misc. No.17268 of 2024 (Md. Tarique Anwar @ Tarique Anwar vs. the State of Bihar) and by order dated 11.12.2023 in Cr. Misc. No.79548 of 2023 (Belal @ Mohammad Belal vs. the State of Bihar), as such, it is submitted that the case of the petitioner is on better footing.

5. Learned A.P.P. opposes the anticipatory bail application.

6. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner, above-named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks, is directed to be released on anticipatory bail on his furnishing bail-bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Araria or his successor in connection with Jokihat P. S. Case No.166 of 2022, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.

7. The application stands allowed.
