Petitioner is holding the substantive post of Block Agriculture Officer and was serving the Bihar State Food Corporation on deputation as procurement-in-charge for the year 2012-13. It is said that during the period 2012-13 he misappropriated paddy worth more than a crore by handing over the same to the millers in West Bengal without any authorization. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he remained in jail custody for about a year. In the circumstances, let petitioner, named above, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 5,000/-(Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Araria, in connection with Forbesganj P.S. Case No. 602/2014.
