The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Adapur P. S. Case No. 225 of 2020, dated 16.07.2020, instituted for the offences under Sections 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.33070 of 2020(2) dt.09-03-2021 2/3 (Amendment) Act, 2018.

Approximately 10 litres of liquor is said to have been recovered from a motor-cycle which was stated to be of the petitioner.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the motor-cycle which was seized does not belong to him. The petitioner has got no connection with the liquor which is said to have been seized. The petitioner has got no criminal antecedents. Considering the afore-stated facts, the petitioner, above-named, is directed to be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order, on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000 /- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge, Excise Act, East Champaran, Motihari, in connection with Adapur P. S. Case No. 225 of 2020, subject to the conditions as

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.33070 of 2020(2) dt.09-03-2021 3/3 laid down under Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.
