This contempt application has been filed for compliance of the order dated 12.04.2017 passed in C.W.J.C. NO. 14211 of 2014 by which the Land Acquisition Officer, Saharsa was directed to ensure payment of remaining dues amount to the petitioners in accordance with law. The matter relates to land acquisition and a showcause has been filed on behalf of opposite party nos. 2 and 4 on 15.03.2020 in which Annexure-F has been attached stating that

Patna High Court MJC No.431 of 2018(8) dt.17-07-2023 2/2 there are other claimants of the land in question also and in that view of the matter, they have to get an order from the competent Civil Court.

The said observation of the District Land Acquisition Officer, Saharsha finds incorporated in memo no. 7, dated 01.02.2020 and in that view of the matter, no contempt is made out.

The MJC No. 431 of 2018 stands disposed of.
