JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR) Date : 13-04-2023 We have heard Mr. Lalmani Sharma for the petitioner and Mr. Ajit Kumar for the State.

2. No case for contempt has been made out on behalf of the petitioner.

3. In a Public Interest Litigation in C.W.J.C. No. 12619 of 2015, an issue was raised with respect to preservation of a heritage site known as Tekari Estate Fort.

4. The Bench hearing the matter found that the heritage site as well as the structure was being maintained and the water-body in the premises was also well preserved. The petitioner was asked to liaise with the Archaeological Department for any further direction

Patna High Court MJC No.2897 of 2017 dt.13-04-2023 3/3 with regard to maintenance. No direction has been issued in the aforesaid order; rather the Bench was satisfied with the maintenance of the Tekari Estate Fort and its surrounding.

5. There is no merit in this petition and the same is, accordingly, dismissed.
