The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Mufassil P.S. Case No. 9 of 2016 registered for under Sections 401 and 414 of the Indian Penal Code.

Regard being had to the recovery of several incriminating articles including a stolen motorcycle from possession of the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant him bail even though he is in custody since 7th January, 2016. Accordingly, the application for bail is rejected.

Learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, East Champaran at Motihari, before whom the matter is pending, is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same as early as possible. (Ashwani Kumar Singh, J) Pradeep/- U T
