The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Rudrapur P.S. Case No. 03 of 2016 registered under Sections 366-A and 120-B of the Indian Penal Code.

Referring to the statement of the victim recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, as contained in Annexure-2 to the present application, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the victim has not uttered a word against the petitioner in her statement made before the Magistrate. It is further submitted that the petitioner having no criminal antecedent is languishing in jail since 11th January, 2016.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.21676 of 2016 (2) dt.19-05-2016 2/2 Regard being had to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner Pappu Bhagat @ Pappu Kumar Bhagat is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.C.J.M., Jhanjharpur in connection with Rudrapur P.S. Case No. 03 of 2016.
