2. Writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent authorities to make settlement of the land situated under Mauja Bahadurpur Khata no. 174, Plot no. 753 area 0.3 decimal, Plot no. 865 area 0.2 decimal in favour of the petitioner.

3. At the outset, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has already filed an applications before the Circle officer, Adapur, Motihari, East Champaran on 30.1.2020 & 31.1.2020 for settlement of the land in question. Petitioner has also filed application before the

Patna High Court CWJC No.756 of 2021(5) dt.30-11-2023 2/2 DCLR and the SDO, Raxaul in this regard but till date no final order has been passed. He submits that a direction may be given to the Circle officer, Adapur to dispose of the aforesaid case.

4. In view of the nature of prayer made in the writ petition, let the Circle officer, Adapur (respondent no.6) dispose of aforesaid case of the petitioner by a reasoned and speaking order in accordance with law after hearing the parties, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of this order.

5. Writ petition stands disposed of with the aforesaid directions.
