1. Heard learned counsel for the parties.
2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Sasaram (M) (Karwandiya) P.S. Case no.322 of 2024 registered under sections 127(1), 115(2), 109 and 132 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and section 27 of the Arms Act.
3. As per the prosecution case, on information having been received and a raid being conducted by the police personnel to catch the accused persons involved in illicit trade of liquor, it is stated that 2-3 accused persons were caught. However, on the attempt by the police to bring them, a number of accused persons thrashed them and also resorted to firing. Some of the police personnel were injured.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.35367 of 2025(2) dt.11-06-2025 2/2 petitioner is not named in the FIR. He has been falsely implicated in the case in course of investigation in the confessional statement of a co-accused Manish Kumar who has himself been enlarged on bail vide order dated 18.1.2025 passed in Cr. Misc. no.74644 of 2024. The petitioner is in custody since 6.11.2024 and chargesheet has been submitted in the case.
5. The application for bail is opposed by learned A.P.P. for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the allegations in the FIR, grant of bail to co-accused Manish Kumar on whose confessional statement the name of the petitioner transpired and the petitioner having remained in custody since 6.11.2024 together with chargesheet having been submitted in the case, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in connection with Sasaram (M) (Karwandiya) P.S. Case no.322 of 2024 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/ (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned C.J.M., Rohtas at Sasaram.
