The petitioner seeks bail in Sour Bazar P.S. Case No.32 of 2020 registered under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 384, 379 and 307 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 27 of the Arms Act.

The petitioner and others are alleged to have assaulted the informant with butt and other weapons. Petitioner is alleged to have assaulted with butt of gun on the head of the informant. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that informant got as many as five injuries but all the injuries are simple in nature. Petitioner is in jail since 01.05.2020.
