The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 436, 387, 427 and other Sections of the Indian Penal Code and different Sections of Unlawful Activities Prevention Act.
Road construction work was going on between Raghunathpur and Saraiya. It is alleged that about 35-40 extremists came, set ablaze the machines and took away different articles such as mobile phones from the employees of the company. The case was registered against unknown. Name of the petitioner figured in the case in the confessional statement of one Sukhari Mahto, but nothing has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner nor the petitioner was put on test identification parade.
