JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 21-11-2022 The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though the petitioner had filed an application for grant of arms license, way back in the year 2006, but on account of coming into force of the new Arms Rules, 2016, the petitioner be granted liberty to file a fresh application for grant of arms licence, before the District Arms Magistrate, Madhepura, in accordance with the provisions contained in the new Arms Rules, 2016. Liberty so sought, is granted.

It is needles to state that in case, a fresh application for grant of arms licence is filed within a period of four weeks from today, the same shall be considered by the District Arms

Patna High Court CWJC No.14037 of 2021(2) dt.21-11-2022 2/2 Magistrate, Madhepura in accordance with law and disposed off, by a reasoned and a speaking order, within a period of 12 weeks, thereafter.

The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
