2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Saur Bazar P.S. Case No. 52 of 2026 instituted for the offences under Sections 65(2), 137 & 140 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and sections 8/6 of the POCSO Act.

3. The allegation is that the petitioner has raped the informant's daughter who is a child aged about two years.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. Counsel submits that the petitioner is a married man having wife and children. Counsel further submits that the

5. Learned A.P.P for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of bail to the petitioner.

6. Considering that the victim child was only 1 year and six months old at the time of alleged occurrence and the petitioner has committed a heinous nature of offence, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner is hereby rejected.
