2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 273 of Indian Penal Code and Section 47 (a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.
3 . It is alleged that 106.56 liters of English liquor was recovered from the seized scorpio vehicle . Petitioner is owner of the seized vehicle .
4. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case only on the basis of suspicion . No incriminating article has been recovered from from the conscious possession of petitioner and he has got no concern with the alleged occurrence .
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.35240 of 2025(2) dt.18-07-2025 2/2 Petitioner claims clean antecedent. Charge sheet has already been submitted. Petitioner is in custody since 01.05.2025 . 5 . Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail.
6. Considering the aforesaid facts of the case , period of custody and other circumstances of the case , prayer for regular bail of the petitioner is allowed. Let the petitioner, mentioned above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Court of Exclusive special Judge Excise - 0I, Purnia in connection with Baisi P. S. Case No. 161 of 2016.
