2. The present contempt petition has been filed for non-compliance of order 07.08.2018 passed in C.W.J.C. No. 15444 of 2014 whereby the writ petition was disposed of with a direction to the respondent-State that if the case of the petitioner is similar to that of Maheshwar Prasad Singh case, the respondents are required to grant same relief to the petitioner, in the light of the litigation policy 2011 and the judgment of the Full Bench reported in 2018 (2) PLJR 929. Final decision on the claim of the petitioner was directed to be taken by the

Patna High Court MJC No.1943 of 2019(15) dt.19-06-2026 2/2 respondents in the light of the decision of C.W.J.C. No. 12531 of 2014 and other cases mentioned therein within a maximum period of four months form the date of receipt/production of a copy of the order.

A supplementary show cause on behalf of the opposite party no. 2 has been filed wherein the order contained in memo no. 48 'P' dated 20.05.2026 issued under the signature of the Director (Secondary Education), Government of Bihar, Patna has been brought on record whereby the claim of the petitioner for parity in terms of order dated 07.08.2018 passed in C.W.J.C. No. 15444 of 2014 has been rejected. This Court is satisfied that the order dated 07.08.2018 passed in C.W.J.C. No.15444 of 2014 has been complied.

4. Accordingly, the present contempt petition is dismissed. If the petitioner is aggrieved with the order dated passed by the Director (Secondary Education), Government of Bihar, Patna dated 20.05.2026, he can avail appropriate remedy in accordance with law, if so advised.
