Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the demand in question cannot be said to be public demand within the meaning of the provisions of the Act. It is an admitted fact that after issuance of notice, the petitioner had not filed his objection under Section 9 of the Act. Considering the facts and circumstances, this application is disposed of with a liberty to the petitioner to file his objection under Section 9 of the Act. If the petitioner files an objection, the Court expects that the competent authority shall consider the same and dispose it of, in accordance with law.
