Let the defects, as pointed out by the office, be removed within four weeks of start of normal functioning of the physical court.

Petitioner seeks bail in connection with Udwantnagar (Gajrajganj) P.S. Case No. 95/ 2021 registered for the offences punishable under Section 364 of the IPC but police after investigation submitted charge sheet under Sections 302, 120B of the IPC and 27 of the Arms Act.

As per prosecution case, on 24.02.2021 the husband of the informant proceeded towards the house of Ankaj Kumar at Jagdev Nagar but he did not return back in the evening. On

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.44708 of 2021(4) dt.24-02-2022 2/2 25.02.2021, the informant received a message on her mobile demanding ransom of rupees twenty lacs or else her husband would be done to death. It is alleged that this message was received from the mobile of her husband.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has clean antecedent and has committed no offence and he has falsely been implicated in the present case. He further submits that as per FIR husband of the informant is missing since 24.02.2021 but the present FIR has been instituted on 26.02.2021. Petitioner is in custody since 27.02.2021. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on the basis of the material available on the record and the case diary submits that there is direct involvement of the petitioner. He further submits that on the basis of self confessional statement of the petitioner dead body of the victim has been recovered. Considering the aforesaid facts, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail and accordingly, the same stands rejected.
