The grievance of the petitioners in the present writ petition is non-payment of salary despite the fact that the petitioners have been regularly working.

Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that

Patna High Court CWJC No.3506 of 2018(4) dt.01-08-2019 2/2 the petitioners have not been paid salary for the period from the month of April, 2012 to the month of March, 2013. The respondents have issued letter indicating that stopped salary shall be released but till date payment has not been released in favour of the petitioners.

Considering the grievance of the petitioners, which requires factual enquiry, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the District Programme Officer (Establishment), Khagaria to enquire into the legality and validity of the appointment of the petitioners and if it is found that the appointment of the petitioners is legal and valid and they have regularly worked for the period April, 2012 to March, 2013, he shall pass appropriate order for payment of salary and ensure payment of salary at the earliest preferably within a maximum period of 60 days from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

With the aforesaid, the writ petition stands disposed of.
