The petitioner is languishing in jail since 23.1.2016 in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 18, 20, 21, 22, 23 of the N.D.P.S. Act.

From the possession of the petitioner 500 grams of Charas was recovered.

From the impugned order it appears that the bail application of the petitioner was earlier rejected by the learned Sessions Judge on 15.3.2010. Thereafter no application for bail was filed before the Sessions Judge or this Court but the petitioner escaped from the judicial custody in 2010. Thereafter he was arrested in 2016.

Considering the conduct of the petitioner, this Court is not

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.21393 of 2016 (3) dt.20-06-2016 inclined to grant bail to the petitioner in connection with Bettiah Town P.S.Case No. 31/2010 pending in the court of Addl. Sessions Judge III, West Champaran, Bettiah.
