JUSTICE ANJANI KUMAR SHARAN ORAL ORDER 20-09-2024 Vide order dated 06.09.2024, a report was called for from the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge-II, Jehanabad regarding the truthfulness of the report dated 14.08.2024 submitted by him.

2. In compliance of the aforesaid, he has sent a further report dated 12.09.2024 in which, inter alia, it is stated that the earlier report sent by him was incorrect and there was typing mistake. He has tendered his unconditional apology for the inconvenience caused to the Court and undertook that in future no such error will occur on his part.

3. The explanation dated 12.09.2024 submitted by the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge-II, Jehanabad is accepted and this Court expects that such type of error will not occur in future on his part.

4. Heard Mr. Nityanand Neeraj, learned counsel on behalf of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.40958 of 2024(4) dt.20-09-2024 2/2 the petitioner, Mr. Surdendra Prasad Singh, learned APP on behalf of the State and Mr. Dhananjay Kumar, learned counsel on behalf of the informant.

5. Petitioner is seeking bail in connection with Shakurabad P.S. Case No.186 of 2023, registered for the offences u/s 341, 323, 307, 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as by the learned counsel for the Informant that only one witness is still left to be examined.

Considering the statement made on behalf of the petitioner and informant, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. The prayer for bail on his behalf is hereby rejected. 8.

Accordingly, this application stands dismissed. 9.

However, learned Trial Court is directed to conclude the trial preferably within four months.
