JUSTICE SUDHIR SINGH ORAL ORDER 19-04-2017 Earlier the bail application of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 31.08.2016 in connection with Sessions Trial No. 27 of 2016, arising out of Laxmipur P.S. Case No. 76/2014, pending in the court of learned A.D.J. 2, Jamui, with a direction to the court below to conclude the trial within a period of six months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of the order.
The court below vide its Letter No. 32 dated 22.03.2017 has sought for further extension of time for concluding the trial. It is further evident from the aforesaid letter that due to non co-operation of the prosecution witnesses the trial could not be concluded within a period of six months.
The court below is granted further a period of six months time to conclude the trial from the date of
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.23538 of 2016 (7) dt.19-04-2017 2/2 receipt/production of a copy of this order.
The District Magistrate, Jamui and the Superintendent of Police, Jamui, are directed to ensure that the prosecution witnesses are produced on the date fixed by the court below so that the trial could be concluded within the stipulated period.
