The petitioners have challenged the order dated 15.11.2006, whereby the original roster for appointment of Panchayat Teacher was prepared.

Learned counsel appearing for the State submits that the matter is very old and relates to the first phase of the

Patna High Court CWJC No.4578 of 2018(3) dt.25-07-2022 2/2 selection. The writ petition is preferred in 2018 and suffers from gross delay and latches. Learned counsel submits that on merit also the petitioner does not have a case as the correct roster was applied after considering the number of posts which are available for particular category.

Counter affidavit has already been filed.

I have considered the submissions.

Considering that the counter affidavit has been filed by the respondents and the selection process has been over long back, this Court is satisfied that the writ petition suffers from gross latches and delay and even on merits the petitioners have not been able to satisfy this Court with regard to illegality in the roster prepared by the respondents.

The writ petition is accordingly dismissed.
