JUSTICE RAJIV ROY ORAL ORDER 31-01-2023 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner also also the informant and the learned APP for the State. The petitioner is apprehending arrest in connection with Piprakothi P.S. Case No. 217 of 2021 under sections 341, 323, 498(A), 379 and 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

At the outset, it was jointly submitted by both the learned counsel for the petitioner and the informant that now the couple has compromised the matter and they are staying together.

Taking into account the aforesaid development that has taken place during the pendency of this petition, so far as the anticipatory bail is concerned, this Court is inclined to extend the petitioner the privilege of anticipatory bail.

Case No. 217 of 2021 subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
