This application is for grant of regular bail in connection with Sessions Trial No.433 of 2018 dated 25.11.2017for the offences under Sections 396/397 of the Indian Penal Code.

Earlier the prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected , vide order dated 19.7.2018 passed in Cr. Misc. No.22736 of 2018 and the allegation is that there is confessional statement of the petitioner as well as there is recovery also.

Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that after rejection of the prayer for bail of the petitioner, some other accused persons have been granted bail

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.34033 of 2019(2) dt.23-05-2019 2/2 by Co-ordinate Benches of this Court, vide order date 2.11.2018 passed in Cr. Misc. No.64531 of 2018, order dated 16.8.2018 passed in Cr. Misc. No.40900 of 2018, order dated 11.3.2019 passed in Cr. Misc. No.14703 of 2019 and the petitioner is in custody for two years.

Heard learned A.P.P. also.

Having heard both sides and in view of allegation and as earlier prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner , however, the learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial of the petitioner. With the aforesaid observation, this application is dismissed.
