Unknown thieves stole away idol of Lord Mahaveera in the night of 27/28.11.2015 from his birth place Lachhuar. It is evident from para-50 of the case diary that before proper identification of the accused the idol was recovered having lying by the side of the road in abandoned condition. It is further evident from para-74 of the case diary that some culprits were apprehended by Aurangabad police who confessed their guilt relating to theft of aforesaid idol. Subsequent case diary contains details as to how the I.O. approached, took the accused on remand, recorded their inculpatory extra judicial confessional statements and submitted charge-sheets, keeping further investigation pending. In the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, petitioner, Dhirendra Paswan @ Takalu @ Takala is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jamui in connection with Khaira PS Case No.252 of 2015.
