In this case, the petitioner is seeking bail in connection with Turkauliya P.S. Case No. 53 of 2016 registered for offences under Sections 366A/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Allegation of kidnapping of a minor girl for the purpose of marriage has been made against the petitioner. The girl has made her statement before the Magistrate under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, where she categorically stated that she herself had gone along with the petitioner and co-accused Akhtar Dewan.

Looking to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, namely, Afaroj Devan, be released on bail on

No.23684 of 2016 (2) dt.31-05-2016 2/2 furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, East Champaran at Motihari in connection with Turkauliya P.S.
