2. The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. The allegation in the first information report is that of causing death of the daughter of the informant for nonfulfillment of demand of dowry.
4. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner is the mother-in-law of the deceased and there is general and omnibus allegation in the first information report against her. It is further submitted that after investigation final form has been submitted in favour of the petitioner and her husband Ramchandra Das but differing with
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.35719 of 2025(2) dt.28-05-2025 2/2 the said final form, cognizance has been taken by the learned Court below. It is further submitted that the husband, father-inlaw and cousin father-in-law of the deceased have already been released on bail by co-ordinate Bench of this Court and those orders have been annexed vide Annexure-P/4 series to this application. The petitioner is a lady, no criminal antecedent and is languishing in custody since 22.03.2025.
5. Learned APP for the State opposed the bail petition.
6. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case as well as the fact that all other coaccused including the husband of the deceased have been enlarged on bail, the above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Court below where the case is pending/successor Court in connection with Magadh University P.S. Case No.77 of 2015.
