The petitioner seeks bail in Isuapur P.S. Case No. 39 of 2016 corresponding to Sessions Trial No. 201 of 2020, registered for the offence punishable under Section 498(A)/306 of the Indian Penal Code and section 27 of the Arms Act. Earlier the bail application of petitioner was rejected vide order dated 02.06.2020. Vide order dated 18.08.2021, report was called for regarding the stage of trial and same has been received (kept at flag 'B'), which reveals that one prosecution witness has been examined till date. It is submitted on behalf of learned counsel for petitioner that during trial of the case, informant (PW-1) Hira Kunwar has not supported the prosecution case.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.45273 of 2021(4) dt.27-10-2021 2/2 Considering the fact and circumstances of the case and stage of trial, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner above-named on bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected. However, trial court is directed to conclude the trial preferably within a period of six months failing which petitioner is at liberty to renew his prayer for bail.
