Petitioner is in custody in connection Special Case No. 282 of 2019 arising out of Araia (Bairgachhi) P.S. Case No. 146 of 2019 for the offence under sections 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act, 2016.

In the instant case total 50.470 liters of liquor was seized.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits petitioners have no criminal antecedent. He submits that petitioner is neither owner nor driver of the seized vehicle. The petitioners are in custody since 26. 02. 2019.
