2. The petitioner in the present case is seeking proper and fair investigation of Motihari (M) P.S. Case No. 436 of 2019 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 354(B), 406, 420, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case wherein the petitioner is seeking a direction to the respondent 1st set to take fair investigation of Motihari (M) P.S.

Patna High Court CR. WJC No.1022 of 2023(2) dt.03-11-2023 2/2 Case No. 436 of 2019 registered under Sections 341, 323, 354(B), 406, 420, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code, this Court directs the Superintendent of Police, East Champaran at Motihari (Respondent no. 4) to look into the grievance of the petitioner, examine the case and review the investigation of the case so far within a period of six weeks from today.

4. The Respondent no. 4 is directed to issue appropriate instruction to the I.O. of the case and in case it is found that the I.O. is not working or sitting idle over the matter, appropriate action shall be initiated against him and the matter will be handed over to another I.O. to complete the investigation within a reasonable period.
