Petitioner is accused in connection with Gaya Excise Case No. 145 of 2019 registered under Sections 30(a) and 56(b) of the Excise Act.

Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. Petitioner is neither owner nor driver of the alleged vehicle in question. It is also submitted that petitioner has no criminal antecedent and is in custody since 17.03.2019.
