The petitioner is in judicial custody in connection with Chapra Town P.S. Case No. 105 of 2018 for the offences under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.

The matter is of the year 2018 inasmuch as the FIR was lodged on 28.02.2018 and the petitioner chose to walk in the judicial custody on 14.02.2022 i.e. complete four years after the lodging of the FIR.

Considering the aforesaid act of the petitioner as also that he has criminal antecedent, this Court is not inclined to grant him privilege of bail which is accordingly rejected.
