The petitioner has been in custody since 25.03.2020 in connection with Jehanabad P.S. Case No. 188/2020 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 25(1-b)a,26,35 of the Arms Act.

As per the prosecution case, a raid was conducted in room No. 201 of the hotel, from where a double barren gun and 30 live cartridges were recovered from a bag and this petitioner along with five other persons were sitting in the said room. It is submitted that nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. It is further submitted that as per the prosecution case, the petitioner was simply sitting in the room where the aforesaid arms and ammunition were

Petitioner is in custody since 25.03.2020. In view of the aforementioned facts and circumstances, let the petitioner above named be released on bail, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jehanabad, in connection with Jehanabad P.S. Case No. 188/2020.
