1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1. That this is application is being filed for a direction upon the Respondent concerned specially Respondent Circle officer, Dinara, Rohtas (Respondent no. 40 to initiate proceeding under Bihar Public Land Encroachment Act against the encroachers and take effective steps to get the lands in question bearing Khata No. 140, Plot No. 671, Area 3 Acre 25 decimal situated under Mauza- Semra, Thana No. 208 under Anchal Dinara, DistrictRohtas which is standing in name of "Anabad Sarvsadharan" and nature of the lands in question is mentioned as Ahar (Water Tank)

Patna High Court CWJC No.8556 of 2024(2) dt.27-06-2024 2/2 which comes under the purview of Water bodies but some influential persons have illegally filled up the certain portion of Public land and have made permanent structure over the public land restricting the Aam Rasta of petitioner and other villagers and in this regard the petitioner who's Rasta is restrained and the agricultural lands of petitioner is not irrigated as entire water bodies have been encroached by the influential person and despite having filed specific representation on 31.01.2024 till date neither proceeding has been initiated nor any effective steps have been taken for removal of encroachment over the public land."

2. After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the Circle Officer, Dinara, Rohtas for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.

3. The writ petition stands disposed off.
