1. The Writ petition is filed to direct the respondents particularly respondent no. 4, the District Transport Officer, Gopalganj to make registration and owners ship of the Bolero vehicle bearing BR 28G 9553 in the name of the petitioner, as the petitioner purchased the vehicle through open public auction on 19.12.2016 conducted by the District Magistrate, Gopalganj vide Memo No. 2215 dated 07.10.2016.

2. It is the contention of the Learned counsel for the petitioner that despite making an application for transfer of ownership, the respondent authority did not transfer the ownership of Bolero vehicle bearing BR 28G 9553. Therefore, he was constrained to file the present writ petition.

3. A detailed counter affidavit was filed by the respondents. The counter affidavit disclose that the petitioner had filed an application before the District Transport Officer, Gopalganj for transfer of ownership bearing Registration No. BR 28G 9553. After thorough verification of the entire materials regarding the auction sale of the said vehicle the District Transport Officer, Gopalganj has transferred the vehicle, in favour of the petitioner which was entered in the registration book vide Transfer order dated 27.01.2022.

4. The Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that the said fact may be recorded. Considering the fact that the relief sought by the petitioner was redressed and nothing remains for

5. Therefore, the Writ petition stands closed.
