The petitioner has challenged the order dated 22.06.2017 passed by the District Programme officer (Establishment), Gaya whereby and whereunder the petitioner has been placed under suspension in contemplation of initiation of department proceeding.

The learned counsel for the respondents relying upon the counter affidavit filed in the present case, has submitted that the departmental proceeding has already been initiated and a conducting officer has been appointed. It is further submitted that the departmental proceeding shall be

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to complete the departmental proceeding within a period of six months from today, failing which the order of suspension dated 22.06.2017 shall stand revoked automatically.
